Exciting opportunity to join a recently merged organisation are seeking a dynamic Procurement Officer to assist with the implementation of Category Management processes
Your new role
Reporting to the Head Of procurement following the implementation of Category Management processes, you will be allocated a diverse portfolio of categories supporting central shared service activities as well as procurement activities across deployed operations. Manage effective relationships with allocated key suppliers to optimise commercial arrangements throughout the Supply Chain. Implement and manage procurement tendering activities, prepare tender documentation and participate in supplier and contractor selections and negotiations
What you'll need to succeed
Proven background in Procurement, ideally with prior experience of Category Management and tendering activities
Strong stakeholder Management skills
Business and Commercial awareness
What you'll get in return
Salary up to c£33,000 + CIPS support and chance to be part of the transformation to Best Practice procurement department
