Interim IT Procurement Manager
1st Executive are retained by a global FTSE100 client to source an experienced IT procurement professional to join their existing team. You must be a specialist in IT procurement, with a strong track record brokering agreements for software licences with major tier-1 providers, both new and re-negotiation of existing.
To lead on a number of software-driven initiatives including large-scale licencing agreements with major tier-1 providers. These agreements will be global in scale, and complex in deployment. You will be required to assess current setup, identify any areas for potential cost savings / service improvement and re-negotiate wherever possible.
- Strong, subject-matter expert level knowledge of IT software procurement.
- Previous successful track record negotiating licence agreements with global providers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Norton etc.
- Proven ability to manage complex IT contracts, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.
- Previous company/assignment experience must ideally include blue-chip organisations with procurement & IT departments that can be multi-national in scale.
