Your new role
This Management role will be responsible for the overall control and management of all aspects of the Purchasing department including the procurement of materials and the appointment and management of sub-contractors. You will provide leadership and practical expertise within the company's procurement team where your priorities will include maintaining stock levels, negotiating cost reductions and control of the supply chain.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced purchasing manager, senior buyer or project manager that has proven experience with the purchasing of materials, sub-assemblies and components. The Purchasing Manager will be tasked with the management of suppliers, developing purchasing strategies, as well as playing an important role in the planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing processes ensuring that products are produced efficiently, on time and on budget as well as meeting quality standards.
You will ideally have experience in a manufacturing setting and have MRP systems experience.
