Your new role
In this position you will lead the planning of inbound freight, coordinating with Commercial / Merchandising functions internally, and Logistics partners, to ensure the plan is successfully delivered.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience in Retail Logistics and Supply Chain, and have an in depth knowledge of inbound movements by air, road and sea. Experience of outbound logistics and setting up new routes to market is also of significant interest. You will have the ability to create logistics solutions, working with partners to achieve class leading performance while keeping close control of costs. As such you will have strong analytical and operational skills, coupled with high level influencing abilities and a real drive to achieve impressive results. You will be accustomed to managing freight contracts from a cost and service perspective, and understand how to drive value for your business and your customers. You will also have experience of managing a team who will support you in the delivery of business objectives including Customs and Duty requirements.
