Procurement Manager, Category Manager
This Category Management position is a pivotal role in the procurement function of this market-leading business. As Category Manager for a defined area of Direct spend, you will be responsible for the strategic delivery and procurement of key areas of spend within the business for all sites and subsidiaries. Being able to develop key stakeholder relationships is central to the success of this position, in order to gain commitment and buy-in from all relevant parties. To succeed in this Category Manager role, you must demonstrate procurement experience across Direct or Indirect spend in a fast-paced commercial environment. Demonstrable expertise of end-to-end procurement is key with exceptional communication skills and a self-motivated and results focused approach to work essential. A preference is for candidates working towards MCIPS although full study support will be provided for candidates qualified by experience. The role will involve infrequent travel to other sites with a company car provided as part of the package.
