Your new role
We have an exciting new Purchasing Officer role based in London. Your role will include supporting the purchasing team. You will be in charge of a specific number of allocated vessels within fleet. Your daily duties will include but not be limited to processing requests, raising purchase orders, sending RFQ's and ensuing shipments are arranged and delivered on time. You will be using procurement software to carry out your daily duties. Your work here is imperative for the smooth running of the procurement team, ensuring they are serving their clients as best as they can.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have experience with a procurement software. Additionally knowledge of ShipNET is ideal. You should have excellent teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills. You will also need to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
