Procurement Officer required for public services client in Milton Keynes
Your new company
Our client who are a public sector organisation are looking to recruit a Procurement Officer for an initial 3 month interim assignment.
Your new role
In this role, you will be providing support to the Commercial Team by taking responsibility for the production and analysis of reports and management information, monitoring and maintaining the procurement portals, reviewing notices for potential PQQ and tender opportunities and interacting with external service providers and ensuring their contractual obligations are delivered.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of supporting in a procurement process which could be the submitting of PQQ's, OJEU tenders and specification / proposal documents, you will have prior knowledge of commercial negotiations and pricing. You will need to be a strong communicator both written orally and possess good numerical skills.
What you'll get in return
This role is for an initial 3 month period and is paying £192 per day.
