The CPC team is comprised of experienced and dedicated procurement professionals who operate at the core of our business creating EU tendered frameworks covering a variety of commodities. The Contracting team offer support and guidance to our members procuring through our frameworks sharing best practice and ensuring compliance. CPC frameworks cover a wide variety of goods and services developed in line with our members'​ needs.

Your new role

As a Specialist Contracts and Procurement Officer within CPC you will work closely with Category Managers covering Facilities Management and Catering Contracts specifically focussing on outsourced catering and cleaning contracts. This will include being responsible for end to end management of the contracts and frameworks from tender and implementation through to contract management. As part of this role you will be a key team member in interaction with Colleges, Schools and Academies. You will also play a key role in the development of other staff members being a mentor for helping them develop their procurement skills.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an MCIPS qualified professional with experience of tendering under OJEU guidelines. You will be experienced working with soft FM categories in particular within catering and cleaning. You will be a team player who is happy to assist junior members of staff develop and able to assist in other areas when required. You will also be an effective communicator who has the ability to speak with key customers and have strong resolution skills. You will also be experienced of managing contracts and/ or frameworks within a public sector environment.

What you'll get in return

In return you will receive a competitive base salary of £35,000 - 38,000 dependant on experience along with;
