Project Manager required for industry leading Engineering business in London

12 month Fixed Term Contract (Possibility to go perm) This organisation are an industry leading engineering company based in Central London. With a future packed full of interesting and diverse projects, this Project Manager role promises to be challenging, fast paced, and strategic. With the recent awarding of high-profile contracts this company are not only focused on the London region, but their sights span across Europe. This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with possibility to go permanent dependant on budget.
Your new role
As the Project Manager within the organisation's Supply Chain, you will be responsible for delivering the Strategic Sourcing Plan across a number of projects that have been awarded. You will be the linchpin between Procurement and Engineering to ensure projects are delivered on time, in budget, and as efficiently as possible.
What you'll need to succeed
Across any assigned project you will manage any and all issues associated with its delivery including but not limited to; KPI management, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, quick supplier identification, and handover from strategic to operational procurement.
What you'll get in return
To succeed in this role you will most certainly have experience within an influential Project Management role, ideally within the engineering space. You should hold a Project Management qualification such as PRINCE or equivalent. You will be able to challenge and influence stakeholders within the business, and be able to manage budgets effectively. You will be a strong communicator and be able to solve problems quickly. There could be some occasional travel associated with this role so flexibility is needed in this regard.
