You will be working for an established, expanding manufacturing organisation based in the Telford area that prides themselves on their reputation for quality within their market.
Your new role
Within this role, you will be managing all supply chain activities across the business as well as effectively managing and developing supplier relationships. You will manage the scheduling of parts between the UK and European sites as well as communicating project plans and processes to the UK distribution team. Another key aspect of the role is to help develop the planning system within the business to help ensure that the demand plan sits in like with the planning process.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will have experience of managing a supply chain function as well as logistics change projects and warehouse operations within the manufacturing industry. You will have strong influencing, organisation and planning skills. As an individual you will have excellent commercial acumen with a proven success of managing supplier performance and negotiations of commercial terms and conditions.
