An ever-evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world's most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

Every product. Every process. Every environment. Our vehicles continually set the benchmark for luxury, innovation and performance thanks to our unrivalled commitment to infinite detail. Join us within our Purchasing teams, and you'll be the driving force behind it all.

As the Purchasing Manager of Directed Tiers and Special Projects, you'll lead the development of supplier and internal stakeholder relationships to ensure strategic and programme alignment. You'll manage suppliers within your designated commodities, and be responsible for Supplier Business Reviews to ensure that the Global Commodity Strategy and Supply Base Market strategy is effectively deployed throughout our supply chain.

Interfacing with other key functions within Jaguar Land Rover, you'll act as a core conduit for true cross-functional working across Production Purchasing, Product Engineering, Cost Engineering, Manufacturing, and many other departments.

Alongside extensive experience gained in a purchasing environment at management level, you'll have the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment. Comfortable working independently, you'll be results driven and tenacious. You'll need in-depth commodity knowledge of Instrument Panel and Floor Console at Global OEM level (with an understanding of Complex Commodity Releasing processes). You must also have Automotive OEM level experience in Global Make versus Buy, and Best Cost Country Sourcing (BCCS) of Instrument Panels and Consoles, including JIT assembly.

You must be able to describe in detail price volume breaks for different manufacturing processes and technologies; have a full technical understanding of cost drivers; and calculate accurate price estimations based on a technical specification and drawing.

You'll also be capable of creating high quality long-term purchasing strategies, using your resilience and enthusiasm to respond constructively to new ideas and inputs. Finally, with your strong communication skills you'll have the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders to influence cross-functional engagement.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
