An ever-evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world's most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

Every product. Every process. Every environment. Our vehicles continually set the benchmark for luxury, innovation and performance thanks to our unrivalled commitment to infinite detail. Join us within our Purchasing teams, and you'll be the driving force behind it all.

As Strategic Buyer Commodity Analyst, you'll not only support the Global Commodity Team and Strategic Buyers to ensure analytics on suppliers, market and business requirements are available, you'll also be responsible for your own commodity set. This will include planning supplier engagement, issuing and running request for quotations to completing negotiations, and supplier selection.

You'll be accountable for data-driven strategic commodity dossier and commodity business plan content, while also being responsible for global sourcing process facilitation. This will include having responsibility for global sourcing approach document ownership as well as working with the Capacity Planning Team to ensure sufficient capacity data is available from suppliers.

You'll combine excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in reporting and presentation. You'll have the ability to build relationships and influence, as well as the ability to understand and explain complex information.

Alongside a degree, or equivalent industry experience, you'll have some previous experience of purchasing or supply chain processes. This will mean you know how to deliver operational plans and short-term deliverables, as well as longer term strategic planning requirements. If you have previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment, that would be ideal - but this isn't essential.

Driven and self-motivated, you'll be able to deliver against targets within challenging environments with minimum supervision. You'll demonstrate commercial, financial and business acumen skills and have substantial project management experience. You'll also build complex analytical models, identify market trends and link all this to internal strategic decision making. Finally, it would be advantageous if you have an understanding of current economic, technological and political factors and their relation to Jaguar Land Rover with a cultural awareness of global markets.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
