Your new role
You will be working directly for a Commodity Manager and will support the team to ensure activities are completed. You will be working in a team of 6 which operate as part of a larger procurement team to ensure business objectives are achieved.
You will manage part specifications ensuring all relevant information is accessible for Buyers. You will monitor pricing and ensure this is recorded correctly. You will be involved in the processing of invoices and will be strong in managing large volumes of data. This role will directly support the Procurement Strategy and you will be a flexible support that will offer the chance for you to develop your experience in a productive procurement team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need excellent organisation skills and ideally knowledge or experience within a purchasing function. Otherwise, experience within manufacturing or engineering would be preferred. You will be ambitious and open to learning new skills. You should have good Excel skills and be able to make sense of large volumes of data.
