Procurement and supply has a major impact on an organisation’s profitability, efficiency and reputation, in terms of ethics and integrity. We are the profession’s voice, supporting individuals and organisations to achieve excellence and providing the Global Standard in Procurement and Supply. We work with governments, world organisations and industry to raise awareness of sustainable procurement practice and legislation, and drive out corruption and modern slavery in supply chains.

The Melbourne office are looking for a suitable candidate who will have credibility in the procurement and supply management professional community. The successful applicant will have a solid background in training and development and is expected to be MCIPS (or equivalent). The Role

Responsible and accountable for the development of CIPS as the main Professional Body for procurement and supply in the Asia Pacific region, the role will ensure a compliant organisational structure fulfils strategic deliverables. In addition to ensuring regulatory compliance, a key area of focus is to support all business functions with procurement and supply and educational technical expertise: in particular education, membership, customer relationships and marketing. The Head of Professional Body will have strong commercial acumen as the ability to manage budget and monitor performance against targets is critical. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and result-driven individual to drive change in an organisation with enormous growth potential.
