Your new company
Working for a highly successful, Barnsley based, manufacturing company, you will be engaging the global market place in the selection of worldwide suppliers who can assist in supporting the company's growth. Responsible for buying and purchasing, you will work within a team to promote growth for the company.
Your new role
You will be overseeing both the ongoing maintenance and the future development of the company's supplier base. You will provide leadership on development of the current supplier base whilst ensuring the efficient purchase, control and scheduling of material at the lowest overall cost.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have 2+ years experience in a senior position in commodity management or through a purchasing role. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of purchasing raw materials and showcase some business administration skills.
You will be computer literate in Microsoft Office and be able to work with manufacturing software systems. You will be able to work on your own initiative and make decisions based on business requirements.
