"To facilitate, plan and implement warehouse re-designs and workflow and inventory management in accordance with Business Objectives and customer requirements.

To supervise/manage the work of circa 6 people, providing guidance, support, effective communication, leadership, motivation, training and development. "

Client Details



Ensure process compliance, whilst promoting warehouse layout innovation and improvement/s.

Focus on improving workflow in the warehouse in accordance with operational requirements

Document processes, regularly reviewing and updating.

Ensure all policies and procedures are cascaded and adhered to.

Liaise with operational teams, to determine continuous improvement initiatives/projects.

Support the generation of solution deigns meeting the our operational teams and customer needs.

Manage the definition and completion of targets in a timely manner.

To provide regular reports on project process to manager/s.

Review project and Collate and analyse data for decision making.

Supervise teams daily workload, assessing performance.

People management; PDPs, RTWs, PIPs, absence management, disciplinarians etc.

Needs to be resilient and confident when faced with difficult decisions or under pressure.

Attention to detail must be of a high standard.


Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional

Experience of designing warehouse work flow and driving CI initiatives

Strong interpersonal skills

Logical approach to problem solving

Excellent analytical skills

Experience of working in logistics within a continuous improvement role

Computer literate - intermediate on excel - must be able to confidently produce pivot tables and V look ups

Competence in AutoCAD design desirable

Experience of JIT Manufacturing requirements

Experience of leading a team/managing people within a logistics environment is crucial

Job Offer

A salary between £30,000 and £35,000 dependant on experience
