Your new role
In your new job you will be an Indirect Category Manager managing the indirect spend in a range of categories, focusing on Professional Services. You will be in charge of the strategy, planning and overall responsibility for the category spend. You will be challenged to ensure efficiency in your category, and you must be comfortable working with senior stakeholders within procurement and key suppliers as well as supplier measurement and rationalisation to ensure delivery on all contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be an experienced procurement professional, with multi category exposure in indirects and have the ability to communicate at a senior level. Key to your new role will be the confidence and credibility to challenge difficult stakeholders and achieve positive outcomes. To be successful you will need experience managing a complex supplier base, challenging where necessary but also working to improve key supplier relationships. MCIPS preferred but not essential.
