Procurement - Contracts and Sourcing Manager - IT Procurement - FTSE 100 Management Consultancy - London - £60-65k + Excellent Package

Global management consultancy major seeks IT contracts and sourcing expert to provide key procurement and sourcing activities on a variety of this conglomerates accounts across Europe. Having benefitted from an explosive 6 months growth, this market leader has received further board level investment into the rapidly growing strategic sourcing function, and this exciting role will offer the successful applicant tailored progression opportunities that will see you work towards promotion to directorship within 5 years!

Reporting directly into the Global Head of IT Sourcing you will be tasked with building long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders on an international basis, and you will be managing multi-million pound spends across a plethora of IT procurement categories including Application Development, Hosting, Hardware, Software, Telecoms & Outsourcing. Operating on a strategic basis to help this award winning procurement function excel, you will expand your global sourcing experience and will be dealing with the market's most prestigious suppliers from around the world!

This is fantastic opportunity to join one of the most iconic management consultancies in the world, and with offices across Asia, Europe and America, the successful Contracts and Sourcing Manager will be offered the chance to travel or do secondments in a variety of their global office locations which includes, Shanghai, Tokyo, New York and Berlin!

Procurement skills and background required:

  • Proven track record of success across IT procurement.
  • Proficient in the understanding and drafting of complex contractual terms and conditions and sourcing practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships with client, stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.
  • Strong negotiations and influencing abilities.
  • CIPS qualified.
