Client Details

The Client is a market leading 3PL based in Stoke on Trent who take pride in their people. Their aim is to bring fresh thinking to the supply chain, responding intelligently to business change and developing agile, flexible logistics solutions that deliver to their customer's needs.

Description

Key Responsibilities in this role will include;


To act as programme leader, planning & coordinating agreed programme activities & organising team members to ensure delivery of planned results

To identify and implement supply chain improvement and cost down initiatives


Manage the gain share mechanism and demonstrate monetary value to client


To act as project manager for certain, agreed new projects


To design and develop programme structure and content, utilising subject matter experts from both within team Global Product and cross-sector as appropriate

To effectively manage customer relationships


Establishment of effective working relationships with international division colleagues

Establishment of effective working relationships with 3PL providers


Review and Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)


Any other reasonable duties as required and in line with individual capabilities

Profile

The successful candidate:

Ideally come from a 4PL or 3PL background

This role will include overseas travel so must be comfortable travelling regularly if you have experience with doing project management overseas this will be beneficial


Have expertise in operational logistics


Apply a positive, can do-right first time attitude to all aspects of the role as well as challenging current processes


Expertise in implementing large -scale logistics projects


Programme Management, and ability to manage complex, multi-projects


Experience in standardisation projects previously

Be able to communicate at all levels


Involvement in implementation delivery management programmes and successful project implementation as well as continuous improvement and cost savings


University degree or equivalent DePict or Prince 2 training qualification (preferred)

Job Offer

A salary of up to £55,000 + benefits for the right candidate
