NEW Supply Chain Planner role in Co.Antrim , Negotiable salary
Your new company
You will be joining a long established and world leading manufacturing company based in Co.Antrim who specialise in the distribution of high quality products to a wide rage of industries such as marine, technology, aircraft, heating and air conditioning etc. They are going through a period of expansion and new team developments which has prompted their need to recruit a new member of their Supply Chain team to fulfil a Supply Planning Lead role focused on their global aftermarket on a full time permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting into Operations, you will lead a monthly S&OP process by liaising with all departments to establish a balance between supply and demand to optimise delivery schedules, profitability and inventory risk. The Supply Chain Planner will use business requirements to create and deliver a working aftermarket plan in accordance with production and material planning that meet customer expectations at the best possible cost. Furthermore, you will use internal MRP/ERP software to develop finished good inventory models, review forecasts and manage demand allocations on a global scale.
What you'll need to succeed
Your BS in Engineering, Supply Chain or similar along with 3-5 years' experience in a planning or supply chain role will lead to success along with knowledge of understanding the financial influence of inventory, lead times, logistics of raw materials and S&OP process. Also, you will have experience using MRP/ERP software within the manufacturing/engineering industry and demonstrate innovate thinking, idea generation and managing change.
