My client is looking for an operations controller to join them on a prestigious contract based in warwickshire, you will come from a warehouse management background, and be looking to take the next step in your career, this role is ideal for someone who is looking for investment in themselves and the opportunity to progress quickly through a large businesses warehouse and logistics management team.
Controller of contract operations across all servicing sites.
Plan and schedule deliveries including requests made by the client.
To lead/provide Communications to other Network sites.
To structure and provide analysis.
To attend regular progress meetings with the customer, customer reviews and be accountable for service, volume and operational efficiencies and processes in line with customer expectations.
Lead develop new and existing technology to support operations and enhance service offerings.
To control an effective suite of KPI's for the customer, monitor and impact service ensuring contractual performance is achieved.
To effectively manage our delivery network and 3rd party organisations to ensure delivery targets are achieved and exceeded.
Become a point of contact for all client related communications
Use account level databases to provide detailed analysis of trends and seasonal peaks
Support the plan and execution of New Flow campaigns
To help develop and use a KPI suite to proactively drive performance
Support an environment of continuous improvement through Roadmap management
Provide regular and timely communications to support effective control of the account
Assist with operations to ensure planning and execution of all operational requirements are carried out
Challenge the operation to provide performance and status feedback
▪GCSE's or equivalent
Full driving licence
Demonstrable experience of building and developing client relationships within a logistics operational environment.
Familiarity with identifying and leading improvement projects
experience of warehouse and transport environments
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Efficient problem solving skills
Target driven and clear prioritisation ability
Good PC skills.
Good report writing and statistical analysis skills
Confident and competent decision maker.
Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative in a busy environment
Good level of Warehouse and/or transport systems knowledge
Desire to develop skills and progress career
Demonstrable client relationship building
