Interim Cat Manager - Vendor Managed Inventory
I am currently looking for a 3-month interim professional for a project procurement opportunity aimed at a specific cost-reduction programme.
My client, located in Derby, is a market leader in manufacturing and production.
They have a global presence and specialise across the engineering sector.
The main responsibility for this role will be to assist with the Category Management of the Vendor Managed Inventory. Looking at the value stream before evaluating and executing a cost-reduction programme.
The successful candidate for the Interim Category Manager - Vendor Managed Inventory will have to hit the ground running, this is a short-term project therefore ideally the candidate will be a specialist within the contractor market.
Furthermore, this specific application is to the Vendor Managed Inventory category and therefore experience within that field is essential.
MCIPS certification and degree's are advantageous.
The candidate must be prepared to work in Derby, be available for an immediate start, and has held category management positions in the past.
