Description

  • Accurate and efficient data entry of orders through an Online Supplier Portal and / or use of the Electronic Supplier Interface for customer orders
  • Performing key administrative duties within the department to ensure paperwork and supplier receipts are processed in a time sensitive manner and invoices are forwarded onto Finance Team.
  • Providing support to the supply chain team in relation to maintaining purchase order receipt updates.
  • Processing the customer exceptions report in line with department standard operating procedures and reporting to customer services team on exceptions against available to promise.
  • Reconciling delivered quantities and product pricing against invoice/delivery notes and ERP.
  • Escalate irregular the planners of delivery/receipt discrepancies to planner in charge of product/supplier
  • Coordinate the intersite transfer activities with the site planners and managers to ensure stock arrives into the relevant site(s) as planned.
  • Scheduling collection and deliveries of purchase orders to regional specific operation sites.
  • Maintain an up-to-date schedule of deliveries into Amsterdam
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects to improve supply chain efficiencies and operational performance
  • Supporting team in resolving warehouse and QC queries on demand
  • Profile

    • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office Packages.
    • Jobholder must be a confident communicator, both via phone and email.
    • Must be well organised and methodical
    • Must be highly numerate and confident with numbers and percentages
    • Must have experience of working within a customer focused environment
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work within a pressured environment
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Team player but able to work on own initiative
    • Excellent Interpersonal skills
    • Interest and previous experience within a supply environment advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
    • 5 GCSE with Grades of C or above for Maths / English / Science
