Working as an Import Coordinator for an exciting retail distribution business earning up to £23,000 p/a.
Your new company
This outstanding business have been operating for over 20 years and has been growing from strength to strength with over 20 retail outlets throughout the UK now. They are now seeking an Import Coordinator to join their team.
Your new role
As the Import Coordinator, you will be working with the business suppliers (Asia based) to ensure that all goods arrive on time in full into the UK. You will manage the process from order placement, through the exportation documents, shipping logistics and the importation documents upon arrival into the UK. This role will be reporting into the Head of Purchasing.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have gained the experience of shipping goods from Asia, ideally China. You must also have a strong understanding of shipping documentation. You need to have a deep understanding of Excel skills including Pivot Table creation, V-Look ups and the manipulation of data.
What you'll get in return
As the Imports Coordinator you will be paid a salary of up to £23,000. You will also be given 20 days of holiday (plus all bank holidays), entered into a bonus scheme of up to 10%and many other company exclusive benefits.
