Job Title: Logistics Shipping Coordinator
Location: London

A global trading Logistics and Supply Chain company, based in London, are looking for an independent, experienced and professional Logistics Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this growing business are offering an exciting position with guaranteed career progression and benefits, with the opportunity to further your existing skills within.

Your new role:

You will be managing the day-to-day administrative operations, overseeing the delivery bookings from 3PL's, monitoring shipping documentations, maintaining high levels of communication with stakeholders and producing relevant shipping and financial reports.

You will have the confidence to negotiate freight rates and handle general business. Import and export experience is preferable as it is an imperative focus within this role, tracking shipments and reporting any issues that may arise. Clear interpersonal skills are essential in order to build successful relationships with client and suppliers alike.

You will develop your coordination skills on a daily basis as you will be booking in orders with third party logistics providers for the organisation. You will be an independent worker as your line manager will be based abroad so you will be able to handle high work-load by yourself and work well in a busy environment.


I am looking for an enthusiastic and experienced candidate within the shipping/logistics industry, looking for that career dedication and progression. You will be happy to contribute your all within a small team here in London, as well as communicate regularly with the international firms. Specific experience within sea-freight is advantageous here.

A general understanding of the Logistics process is a must, along with an ambition in organising the workload in a time-managed manner as well as use your continuous high level of communication throughout the team and on in your everyday position.

You will be competent in the central system SAP, managing updated records and contracts to use in future business forecasting. A foreign language is desired, preferably either French or German, but not essential.
