Demand Planning Analyst job with an International FMCG Company based in Central London

Your new company
You will join an International FMCG Company based in Central London who specialise within the drinks industry. They are a parent company for over 10 brands, most of which are famous household names! They have a multi-national supplier and customer base so you will gain great international experience. They have been operating for over 10 years and have one of the largest global selling brands within one of their categories.

Your new role
The Demand Planning Analyst will be responsible for collating and analysing forecast data and creating outputs for demand planning purposes. You will work closely with the Commercial & Sales teams around the globe to ensure an accurate forecast is produced. You will also need to analyse trends, monitor forecasts, consider seasonal demand and make corrections where necessary to ensure planning for supply is not negatively affected.

You will also be responsible for conducting analysis of sales forecasts and manage demand changes from key areas of the business. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and Finance Director and work with them closely to make any strategical recommendations along the peaks and troughs of seasonal demand.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience within the FMCG world is highly desirable, my client and I are looking for someone who is sharp, analytical and a quick-thinker. Analytical skills are a must and the ideal candidate will have previous demand planning and forecasting/data analysis experience. Strong Excel skills are required and you will need the ability to deal with large volumes of data.
