Your new role
As Vendor Relationship Manager you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with those who supply products and services to the organisation and ensuring that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations. You will undertake strategic analysis and engage in tender evaluation and acquisition process. You will promote good practice in third party management and deploy highly developed commercial skills to identify external partners.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a newly created role that will require someone with a minimum of 5 years' experience within telecoms or the construction industry. You must be hungry and passionate with a strong commercial focus.You must have demonstrated results in achieving increased value along with cost management for stakeholders. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.
