Procurement, Purchasing, Category Manager
A short-term temporary Procurement role working for this local Public Sector employer. This role would suit an experienced Category Manager or Senior Buyer who thrives under a varied workload. This role will be for a 3 month contract, with a possibility of being extended and you will be expected to lead and deliver across a variety of Projects. With a well-established Procurement team in place, there is scope to adjust project remit to suit candidate expertise with Indirect spend or IT a preference. With responsibility for leading on a number of OJEU level tenders, you will be expected to lead from start to finish, including; developing the procurement strategy, market analysis, tendering, pre-qualifying through to contract award. With scope to be largely home-based, an immediate start pending clearance is available. To be successful in this role you must have significant procurement experience with an understanding of OJEU essential. You must be a confident and proactive individual who is comfortable on leading on their own projects.
