Your new role
You will ensure all labour, plant, materials and services are procured in a timely, cost effective and professional manner across the business working in line with purchasing procedures with the ultimate goal of achieving overall value for money for the company. To Identify and assist with the implementation of the departments quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven background working in Procurement with a track record of savings achieved and improved supplier performance. Alongside this you will be able to showcase strong communication skills, numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail and an ability to work to challenging deadlines. Experience in Construction / Civil Engineering procurement and CIPS qualified or part qualified is beneficial but not must have.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £36,000 - £38,000 plus benefits. The role is initially a 6 month fixed term contract with strong potential for the role to become permanent.
