Your new role
In this position you will take control of Demand and Inventory Planning for a key product group for UK & Ire. You will build a collaborative Demand Plan with information from Customer Service, Commercial, Marketing and Finance teams, both internally and within the Retail customers. You will create and refine the Demand Plan on an ongoing basis, and ensure Supply side / Inventory levels are controlled effectively to suit. You will define Inventory levels by SKU, while identifying and addressing risk of obsolescence from slow moving stock, and ensuring effective Supply Planning for New Products and Promotions roll-out.

What you'll need to succeed
You will already be proven in a similar Demand OR Supply Planning position, ideally having experience of both within FMCG or similarly demanding sector (eg Pharmaceutical, Food Manufacturing, Consumer Electronics, Telecoms etc). Your CV will clearly demonstrate relevant responsibilities and measurable successes, and you will be comfortable in a role that combines the need for high level analytical, planning, and communication skills. You will be highly commercially aware and understand what drives commercial performance within a similar business, with a strong focus on Customer Service excellence. You will have a positive and collaborative nature, and be comfortable in a decision making capacity, bringing fact based analysis and accustomed to being regarded as a subject matter expert. Experience of SAP (including APO) is an advantage, but use of similar ERP systems is also applicable. Strong Excel skills are a requirement. A relevant Degree (or equivalent professional experience) is also of interest.
