Senior Buyer, Procurement
Senior Buyer A key strategic role working for a Global Manufacturing organisation based in Suffolk. Working as part of a high-performing, established team of procurement and supply chain professionals, this role will be responsible for developing and embedding a supply chain strategy that achieves against KPIs set pertaining to cost reduction; inventory and customer satisfaction through time delivery, lead time and quality metrics. With a defined commodity base, key elements of the role will include: working with and developing a global supply base; negotiating and implementing Supplier agreements; leverage supplier capabilities; work closely with site and global stakeholders; drive continuous improvement across the supply base; and provide support to the NPI teams as opportunities arise.
This role will suit a candidate with demonstrable experience across the above remit with global sourcing experience, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills a pre-requisite. The role requires a proven ability to influence and across all levels of an organisation with CIPS qualification desired.
