This leading retail business with their head office based in Quedgley, are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join their rapidly growing Logistics function.
Your new role
As the Logistics Manager, you will be reporting into the Operations Director with a dotted line to the MD. You will have ultimate control of the Warehousing function with the Warehouse Manager reporting into you. The Warehouse will however require a lot of your time at the start due to them operating at full capacity in their current layout.
The Logistics Manager will also work with the freight forwarding businesses to ensure that all goods arrive on time, in full from their suppliers across Europe and Asia. You will then start to pick up some project management around the re-fits of their existing stores.
What you'll need to succeed
Having worked within Logistics Management for in excess of 5 years you'll be considered for this vacancy. You must have worked with manufacturers in Asia previously as well as having gained the experience of managing an in house warehousing operation. Ideally (but not crucially) you'll have experience of working within the retail distribution sector however this is not crucial to your application.
What you'll get in return
As the Logistics Manager, you will earn a negotiable salary of up to £50,000 dependant upon your experience. In addition to this, you will earn a wide range of benefits including up to a 10% bonus (dependant upon company performance); a potential 2% profit share plus many more benefits.
