PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT - MANAGEMENT CONSULTING - LONDON WITH TRAVEL - £40k - 50k + COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS
Aggressively growing management consultancy has an urgent requirement for a procurement consultant to join its award winning team. With a number of Board-backed initiatives kicking off, the successful candidate will have an exciting introduction to the Firm and be in a good position to create a legacy for oneself within a number of greenfield project areas.
In order to expand without compromising on quality, the firm is seeking budding procurement & sourcing specialists, either from industry or consultancy, who are passionate about co-creating innovative ideas and high-impact results with their Fortune 500 clients.
As a Procurement Consultant you will:
- Facilitate and project manage procurement processes to support complex sourcing programmes for key Fortune 500 clients across a variety of industry spaces (including but not limited to Oil / Gas / Energy, FMCG & Retail, Media & Entertainment, Technology, Pharmaceutical, Finance, Manufacturing & Automotive, Engineering, Construction, Property and Professional Services)
- Ascertain and execute the procurement approach that drives greatest value for the client (e.g. preparing and/or facilitating RFPs / RFIs / RFQs / eAuctions, and negotiating contracts)
- Utilise your deep understanding of market supply base, demand drivers and typical value levers
- Engage effectively with client projects teams and senior executives to shape demand and specification for the categories
