HR / Professional Services interim procurement manager - Hertfordshire - £500-£550 per day

A leading blue chip company is currently looking for an experienced interim procurement manager to join their corporate procurement team based in Hertfordshire on a 3-6 month rolling contract

This procurement role will involve:
Managing and coordinating procurement projects within HR and professional services
Taking responsibility for delivering savings targets and improving process function
Meeting with clients and stakeholders to build procurement requirements, in some cases leading to identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing clients
Managing key supplier relationships to ensure optimum performance, including leading negotiations

The following procurement skills are required:
Strong procurement background with deep category expertise in HR and professional services
Ability to understand and implement client sourcing / procurement policies and procedures
Ability to articulate results and ideas in a concise manner to both internal colleagues and external clients/stakeholders
Managing and delivering significant portion of procurement projects
A strong academic background
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
