An innovative leader in the industrial B2B retail industry seeks a high-achieving retail analyst to join the organisation during an unprecedented period of growth. Having acquired their largest competitor in the market, the firm are looking to create a unified commercial team at their Paris HQ and secure their position as the market-leader in their industry. This role will play a key part in shaping the future of the organisation, partnering with executive-stakeholders to create innovative solutions for future development whilst capitalising on promotional opportunities as the firm successfully expands.

Retail Procurement Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Consistently analysing the market to identify new areas for the business to develop into
  • Providing exceptional analytical insights into complex spend and purchasing data to identify areas for cost avoidances and savings
  • Becoming deeply-embedded in the firm's product portfolio to create a continuously-improving business unit
  • Liaising with various areas of the business including procurement, supply chain, sourcing, legal, finance and operations
  • Managing external relationships with Suppliers and Clients to ensure the consistent development of new products

Retail Procurement Analyst requirements:

  • Strong Analytical background with a proven track record of managing large sets of data and creating reports for the development of a commercial function
  • Strong numerate skills, including experience working with Excel and data analytics tools
  • Good academics with strong numerical skills
  • Energetic, proactive personality and keen to develop a career with a global business
  • Eager to learn, take on responsibility and progress quickly
