Senior Category Lead (Document Management) - £95K

1st Executive are recruiting on behalf of a new central government organisation for a Senior Category Lead in the Document Management category. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest procurement functions in the UK with impressive growth plans in 2018.

The Client:

  • A new central government organisation responsible for providing deep category expertise to all governmental departments.
  • A highly complex, fast-moving, commercially-focused environment currently undergoing a major transformation.

The Role:

  • You will support Document Management spends of c£1billion across the post, courier, print, office supplies, multi-functional devices, network printers and records management categories.
  • You will develop and implement strategies to shape the category for the future, leading your team through a period of major transformation.
  • You will have the opportunity to influence the lives of your family and loved ones by delivering massive savings to the taxpayer.
  • You will have the opportunity engage with and influence key stakeholders at the highest levels of central government.

Experience Required:

  • You will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of the Document Management market.
  • You will have experience in developing and implementing end-to-end strategic category plans and commercial strategies.
  • You will have a track record of achieving strong results through successfully building capability at all levels of a commercial function.
