A market leading hospitality organisation is going through an exciting period of expansion, and seeks an FM Procurement Specialist to join their growing procurement team. In this role you will be working closely with leading stakeholders on a day to day basis, as you grow your procurement career in a nationally recognised brand. The organisation is recognised for quality and has gained a fantastic reputation in their market that has been built up over a number of years, and you will be able to take pride in the organisation you will be working for, as well as taking on a challenging new role with limitless career progression opportunities.

As an FM Procurement Specialist, you will be:

  • Collaborating with C level stakeholders to advise on strategic level decision making, that will impact on the national procurement strategy, and have a direct influence on the overall profitability of the market leading organisation
  • Managing relationships with key suppliers, and building up new relationships with new suppliers that will greatly benefit the overall procurement function
  • Supported on a day to day basis by some of the most senior procurement professionals in the organisation, to make sure that you progress your career in the leading UK brand
  • Involved with key RFP's, some in excess of £100m, and in time begin to lead your own RFP's as you progress and grow in the organisation
  • Exposed to all stages of procurement processes, and you will become an expert in your field

As an FM Procurement Specialist, you will have:

  • Some prior procurement experience in the FM category
  • The necessary drive and ambition to take your career to the next level, and to become a senior stakeholder in the procurement function
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to challenge senior stakeholder decisions
  • A degree or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Commercial acumen, ideally having worked for a large organisation
