An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Procurement Officer who is a specialist in Facilities Management and Construction to join a growing organisation and thriving team based in Salford, Manchester.

CPC is a well-established not-for-profit organisation with an excellent reputation in the Education sector. We are proud to provide our Colleges, Academies, Universities and Schools members with specialist advice on best procurement practices and obtaining best value for money. The CPC team is comprised of experienced and dedicated procurement professionals who operate at the core of our business creating EU tendered frameworks covering a variety of commodities. The Contracting team offer support and guidance to our members procuring through our frameworks sharing best practice and ensuring compliance. CPC frameworks cover a wide variety of goods and services developed in line with our members' needs. 


Reporting to the Contracting Manager and working within a dynamic team you will offer specialist advice and guidance to our members on the acquisitions of any goods or services within facilities management and Construction contracts.  You will manage and monitor assigned frameworks and engage with members and suppliers to identify opportunities whilst delivering value for money.


This role will suit a candidate who is MCIPS qualified and who has substantial experience of working within a professional purchasing environment undertaking high value EU tenders in facilities management and Construction.  You will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with people at all levels, as well as a strong commitment to mentoring and nurturing a team of professional advisors.
