Location: London with weekly travel

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 plus excellent benefits

Please note this role requires international travel 3-4 days per week on a weekly basis

Would you like to work for a specialist global management consultancy, focused on procurement and supply chain improvement programmes?

Due to continued growth our client are looking for an IT Procurement Consultants to support their increasing presence in the UK. Based out of brand new offices in London, these experienced consultants will spend up to 4 days on client site across the UK and Europe.

Responsible for leading engagements with clients. They have overall responsibility for ensuring that the objectives of the engagement are achieved and client expectations are met. You will be a key member of a young, reflective and innovative team which continues to grow in size year on year. Responsible for setting the strategic direction for the engagements and work with Consultants and other team members to ensure each project workstream is strategically aligned.

Skills and Experience:

o Utilise your experience and knowledge of methodologies to produce procurement processes, procurement projects, transformation and change within the Tech category.
o Expert IT Category knowledge including; application development & maintenance, system integration, infrastructure services "Cloud"/IaaS, server hardware & software, IT Security, service management, service integration.
o End User Computing – service desk, workstation /mobile device support services, hardware / software
o Network & Telecoms – Carrier services - Voice (Legacy & IPT/VoIP), Data networking, Network management services
o Enterprise software – major authors, tail spend management
o Great track record as a negotiator saving money within various IT procurement categories including: software, licensing, hardware, telecoms and data centres.
o Prior experience of consulting of the end to end procurement lifecycle with a great track record dealing with senior stakeholders, strategic sourcing and project managing.
o An exemplary academic background; preferably with a top degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Economics
o Fluency in a European language (as well as English) is highly desirable
Experienced project manager, including planning, execution and risk management
o Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments both independently and as part of a team
o Demonstrated people management skills, including coaching of both consultants and client staff
o Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders of all levels
o Excellent problem solving skills
o Travel flexibility required
