Salary: €35-45k basic + bonus + benefits (3 Days per week)

You could be joining a globally renowned Professional Services firm for this part-time role based in Amsterdam. They are searching for an experienced Professional Services Buyer with indirect category management experience. The role is diverse; in addition to managing the Professional Services and Indirect procurement function for this role you will be acting as the office manager; booking meetings, ensuring that the administrative function of the Dutch office of this Blue-Chip firm is kept in order.

As the Senior Buyer for Professional services you will have had experience in managing services such as Fleet, travel and Facilities. You will be adept in the End to End procurement process and able to work the entire life cycle of the Buying process.

A detailed description of your daily tasks and necessary qualifications is listed below.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective management of the Indirect Procurement Strategy
    • Includes spend categories of: HR, Facilities Management, Fleet, Travel
  • Capable in managing your time effectively switching between the roles of Senior Buyer and Office Manager
  • Liaise with your line manager to roll out innovative category management strategies
  • Manage the End to End Procurement function for the Generalist categories
  • Analyse existing spend, sourcing and onboarding the best value suppliers
  • Be Proactive in the day to day functioning's of the office
    • Support in administrative functions
    • Work with senior staff to support & organise meetings and functions

Required Qualifications & Permits

  • A University Degree
  • Experience in the Procurement or buying function
  • EU working rights
