An opportunity has arisen for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join a building society with the highest customer satisfaction in the UK. This company is implementing new technology, new IT platforms and has a number of new projects so this is a really exciting time to join. As the Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for high risk and high value suppliers, vendors and contracts.
Key Accountabilities Include the following
• SRM will cover all suppliers except IT (e.g property and security)
• Accountable for identifying and mitigating risk
• Managing governance
• Ensuring entire building society functions well
• Meeting FCA standards and regulations for an ethical supply chain to protect customers
• Identify risks of new suppliers, tier and manage those risks involved.
• Keep and build strong relationships with suppliers
• Manage SLA's and KPI's of clients to help performance
• Analyse performance data
• Drive value of suppliers
You will have;
• Understanding of either FCA regulations or a regulated industry
• A strong background in procurement or supplier relationship management with a variety of category exposure
• Amazing relationship building skills to build strong relationships
• The ability to turn around a poorly performing supplier
• The ability to handle major accounts for a business of high value and high risk
• An analytical mind
• A degree and CIPS would be desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in a building society would be advantageous
