Interim Procurement Manager - £500- £600 per day - London - Large Public Sector Organisation

The role will include:

  • Develop UK and Ireland business costs/resources into procurement guidelines outlined by the organisation as well as forming and implementing a procurement strategy.
  • Development of commercial opportunities
  • Drafting terms and conditions as well as scheduling contracts
  • Develop an evaluation tool in which faculty members can learn and understand what they need to know to determine the level of quality of a contracts/supplier's performance
  • Programme management - working across a variety of projects in various work streams

Key Skills:

  • Proven ability to make savings across the public sector using a range of high level, complex procurement abilities. This includes working across large procurement projects and commercial models
  • Strong commercial acumen and programme management experience
  • Highly analytical mindset
  • Experience drafting contracts with complex service delivery such as Model Services contracts
  • Able to manage and influence stakeholders to a senior level
  • Good understanding of regulations within procurement
  • MCIPS/Degree/Contract Management Qualification
  • CTC clearance (preferable)
