Service Design and Transition Lead
My client, a major central government organisation are looking for an SC Cleared Service Design and Transition Lead (SC is the minimum level of clearance accepted and must already be held) to join their high profile Digital Transformation programme which is driving efficiency forward by the use of technology. The client is looking for an experienced Manager who will lead all service design and transition activities across operations for a significantly improved service.
In the beginning the role includes responsibility for documenting and agreeing the service design transition scope, strategy and framework. The role will then move on to include responsibility for building and leading service support and organising and implementing the service support tools and processes.
Key skills and responsibilities;
·Experience working within an Agile Project/Delivery team
·Design of end-to-end IT service support models from Service Desk to root problem fix to service level reporting
·Responsible for ensuring that all policies, processes and procedures are in place to protect a live operational environment
·Direct, motivate, plan and monitor changes in functional design to ensure the non-functional and service introduction requirements are captured and addressed
·Experience of cross-functional working and the ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach with regards to building key relationships across the business and external partners
·Contribute to the project & service introduction planning process by preparing and maintaining a realistic plan for the scope of work involved in service design, including - deliverables and milestones, estimating resource requirements
