Global Category Specialist - Iconic Charitable Organisation - £55k + Benefits - Central London

One of the most iconic global charities are seeking an ambitious Category Manager to join their recently transformed procurement function. The position has become available following a recent internal promotion. The new Category Manager will enjoy a large budgetary spend within their autonomous and dynamic role. Global Category Manager Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in ensuring the procurement function is aligned with the organisations mission
  • Create opportunities by developing and maintaining strong relationships through the supply base
  • Proactively manage suppliers to ensure a high level of performance
  • Deliver category strategies in line with the business's ambitions and vision
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the organisations, values, culture and mission to help implement effective procurement strategies

  • Ability to implement and develop innovative procurement strategies that yield results
  • Commercially aware with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
