Extraordinary Procurement Roles.

MI5, MI6 and GCHQ, our UK intelligence agencies, work together to keep the country safe. Our procurement teams are an integral part, providing expert services that impact directly on operational activities.

We are searching for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to play a part in continuing to develop an outstanding procurement team that collaboratively supports all the agencies.

Purchasing from the everyday to the bespoke, you will be working in an extraordinary procurement role, buying extraordinary goods and services.

About the role
As a Procurement Officer, you will join a highly valued service and an incredibly supportive team who procure a huge range of items. Day-to-day, you will liaise with a range of customers and suppliers and support the team to provide a timely, efficient and unique procurement service. You will proactively take control of your own responsibilities, including contract implementation, management and tendering, along with actively sharing knowledge and supporting others within your team to achieve business goals.

About you
You will either have experience of working in a procurement delivery team or have excellent transferrable skills, such as customer relationship, team working and interpersonal skills that allow you to foster good working relationships with internal and external colleagues. As a natural problem solver, you will proactively resolve issues, help others to overcome setbacks and work towards tight deadlines. You will be keen to develop procurement skills and, with our support, work towards a relevant qualification and embrace any mentoring opportunities.

We particularly welcome applications from women and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates.
