We are expanding our procurement and supply chain team!!!!!

This is a great time to join our expanding procurement team in a time of innovation and change. We’re looking for a high calibre experienced procurement professional to oversee the development of our new strategic sourcing team for clinical and medical technologies.

This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a new team and to develop new and innovative approaches with our medical technology supply chain to improve patient care, develop value and increase efficiency.

The team is committed to working constructively and collaboratively with our suppliers in developing value-adding opportunities and harnessing the potential for our supply chain to support the Trust in delivering better care to our patients and in improving operational performance.

We are a forward-thinking team and whilst cost reduction activity remains important, our focus is beyond the traditional approaches, and is for the Trust to become the 'partner of choice' for key suppliers across the healthcare sector - a key strategic partner for product/service development, research, innovation and working collaboratively to improve healthcare for patients.

This is a high profile leadership role providing strategic expertise to the Trust, developing a new team and new approach to procurement, and leading the development of new value-adding relationships with suppliers and industry.

Your track record and personal credibility will be critical in developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, including world-leading clinical teams, global suppliers, research organisations and other agencies such as Academic Health Science Networks.

You’ll have highly developed commercial acumen and experience of developing and managing complex sourcing projects and supply chain partnerships that can be leveraged to help deliver high-quality care to our patients.

For a confidential conversation to find out more about our team and these opportunities please contact Gary Welch on 01865 572361.
