Due to an exciting new venture this iconic FMCG conglomerate is seeking a highly ambitious Procurement professional to spearhead this newly created Procurement Performance role. Working as part of a world-class team, you will work in collaboration with the procurement centre of excellence and finance teams to create & deliver value and process improvements.

Role overview: -

  • Proactively drive procurement performance, highlighting opportunities to improve outcomes and ensure tighter governance
  • Develop annual objectives for the global procurement organisation, defining key metrics to measure performance
  • Lead performance reviews with senior stakeholders across procurement & finance, to asses performances and tackle delivery solutions to ensure efficient outcomes for procurement
  • Identify, develop and implement key initiatives aligned with Procurement's objectives to set the pace and instil a performance culture within the company across multiple spend categories
  • Ensure that the new objectives are embedded in team members' personal development plans
  • Design a tailored performance management governance model to allow for clear visibility of procurement's status versus targets with regards to savings delivery, risk mitigation, supplier rationalisation, alignment with stakeholders etc

Required candidate background: -

  • Rapid progression within your Procurement, Strategic Sourcing & Category Management career to date, with an impressive track record of outstanding performance with regards to cost savings, risk mitigation, supplier consolidation, stakeholder management etc
  • Experience across process improvement / change management / procurement excellent within procurement/ supply chain ideal
  • Degree, MA / MBA & MCIPS preferred but not essential
  • Natural flair for influencing senior executives
