Langley Search & Interim is currently searching for a Procurement Operations Director to work within a Collaborative Procurement Organisation who are undertaking a major transformation of their procurement, consulting & customer facing areas. Reporting into the Deputy MD, and leading a team of six with a responsibility for procurement, contract management and SRM, this is a pivotal role within the organisation.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience / knowledge in the following areas:-

  • Management of a commercial function that has responsibility for the delivery of procurement, contract management and supplier relationship management, ideally as a shared service / centre of excellence.
  • Experience / ability to development a contract management / SRM capability from inception
  • A track record of leading, coaching, managing and developing teams who deliver business improvements that transform functions through innovative commercial approaches
  • Excellent senior stakeholder engagement skills, working across both an internal and external client and supplier communities.
  • MCIPS qualified (or equivalent) with an MBA/or equivalent qualifications.
