Category Manager - Consulting Team
Langley Search & Interim is currently searching for a Category Manager to work in a Public Sector Collaborative Procurement Organisation. This organisation is undertaking a major transformation of their procurement, consulting & customer facing areas and you will be part of this change joining their newly formed Consulting Team.
Ideally you will have:
- Managed key projects within your organisation, or within client organisations to a successful conclusion. You may have led projects involving continuous improvement, performance improvement or change management in a single organisation or across multiple entities.
- Demonstrated the use of or ability to learn how to use consulting tools and techniques in a problem solving environment
- A strong drive to succeed and be results orientated
- Have some knowledge of best practice in particular procurement category areas e.g. indirects in order to raise the bar in client organisations
- Working with the Category Teams and Customer/Account Managers to be able to develop new services and innovation to meet client needs both now and into the future
- Ideally you will be /MCIPS qualified (or studying for) and be of degree calibre
- You will be an excellent communicator & influencer with the presence to build successful stakeholder and client relationships.
- A well maintained network in the public sector would be useful although not essential – able to build repeat and new business
In return for your skills & experience a salary of up to £57.5k plus benefits is offered. The role is based in Central London near London Bridge.
