Senior Category Manager
Liverpool City Council are recruiting a Senior Category Manager to work within our award winning Commercial Procurement Unit. The role is to lead procurement strategy and influence our Social Care category working closely with Adults and Children’s services including Public Health. Our procurement professionals play a vital role in developing and driving the best possible outcomes for Liverpool including supporting its Fair City and Social Value agenda.
Appropriate category expertise is required, preferably gained within a public sector environment. What is more important, however, is drive, ambition, creativity, influencing skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment at the cutting edge of public sector procurement.
